The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra organized the counselling every year. The counselling process will be carried out through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). To register for the counselling process, candidates will have to visit the official website. A candidate may only register for counselling round if they meet the minimum eligibility criteria of the MAH B.Ed CET cutoff. Candidate names that appear in the rank list will be able to participate in the counselling through CAP. Allotment letters can be downloaded by candidates who have been shortlisted.

CAP is the mechanism used to conduct the admission and seat allocation process for MAH B.Ed CET. At the designated centers within the stipulated time and date, applicants must submit an online registration form. Candidate's choice of institute and course should be entered in decreasing order.
University seats to be allocated directly under CAP will be for home and state-level universities. For the first round of CAP, stage I and stage II will be used. As part of this CAP round, seven stages will be involved. Maharashtra state residents only can apply for round three, if their names appear on the Maharashtra state merit list.
