Maharashtra class 10th and 12th board exams 2023
will be conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE). The exam will start from 21st February onwards. The Maharashtra Board has decided to provide all the students with 10 extra minutes for reading the question paper. The board exam for classes 10 and 12 will be conducted in two shifts.
The first shift will take place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM whereas the second shift will be conducted from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Board exams used to take three hours, but now students have an additional 10 minutes to read and understand their question papers or to complete their exams.

The Maharashtra government has taken steps to implement the "copy-free exams" campaign to ensure the smooth conduct of the exam. As a part of this campaign, shutting photocopy shops in a 50-meters radius of the examination centre for class 10, and 12 board exams have been included.
It was suggested at this week's cabinet meeting that exam centers would be graded on their 'sensitivity' and that unauthorized people would not be permitted to enter within 50 meters of them. In addition, there will be increased police presence around the examination centers. A district collector has been assigned to coordinate the campaign on behalf of the education commissioner, who is serving as the campaign's nodal officer.
