A lot of teachers raised their issues on English papers conducted in Maharashtra Class 12th Board Exams 2022. As per the committee’s decision, all the students who have attempted question A5 (i) in English will be awarded 1 mark.
A lot of teachers raised their issues on English papers conducted in Maharashtra Class 12th Board Exams 2022 . As per the issue, the necessary guidelines required to answer the question were not given for question no. A5 (i). In order to review the issue, a meeting was held between the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education on Saturday. In the meeting, the Joint committee (board of studies and the chief moderator) agreed that the question had a discrepancy. Therefore, as per the committee’s decision, all the students who have attempted question A5 (i) in English will be awarded 1 mark (full marks).

Many teachers have raised their concerns regarding the English question paper. As per the teachers, the question required the students to simplify two sentences. However, both of the sentences were in already simple form and no further simplification could be done. Not only this but the teachers also raised issues on two other questions. As per the teachers, question 2 had sub-questions on mind mapping and had the same topic as question number 4. Teachers also said that question 5 in the paper was very tough as they were based on a novel for which the students generally only learn the synopsis.

Even though there were multiple issues raised by the teachers, the Joint Committee only resonated with question no. A5 (i). As per the committee, there was no issue found in any of the other questions.
