The State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra released the Maharashtra DSE CAP Round 2 Result 2023 for the candidates who have filled in their choices. As per the seat allotted, candidates will be able to download the seat allotment letter by paying the seat acceptance fee and reporting to the allotted institute. Additionally, candidates shall also note the closing rank for admissions as the cutoff rank. Based on the Round 2 cutoffs, candidates will be able to estimate the Round 3 seat allotment. Also, after the completion of the seat acceptance process for Round 2, the vacant seats will be announced for candidates who have not been admitted in Round 2. The cutoffs will also assist the candidates in deciding whether to choose for seat upgradation or accept the seats as per the rank and cutoff rank of their desired institute.

As the Round 2 seat allotment, the seat acceptance process may seem confusing for some, who have opted for seat upgradation in Round 1, or even as fresh candidates. So, here are the details on the seat acceptance and reporting process:
Candidates who have been allotted seats for the first time shall pay the seat acceptance fee online to download the seat allotment letter.
Those who have applied for seat upgradation, and have been allotted seats, need not pay the seat acceptance fee again if paid in the previous round, however, they shall download the seat allotment letter and report to the allotted institute.
While reporting at the allotted institute, candidates will have to carry along their original documents, seat allotment letter, and admission fee to be paid at the institute to confirm the seats within the given time.
