MHRD is inviting applications from Indian students for 2020 DUO-Belgium/Flanders Scholarship Programme. The scholarship will be provided for the academic year starting in August 2020.
The DUO-Belgium/Flanders Scholarship Programme was established in the yeat 2011 with an objective to promote the exchange of students between Belgium/Flanders and four Asian Countries such as India, South Korea, Vietnam and India.

Check out the MHRD DUO-Belgium/Flanders Scholarship Programme eligibility criteria below in detail:
- A Higher Education Institution in Belgium/Flanders which is a home institution and an educational institution in Asia must have an academic cooperative agreement or should set up the same.
- Both the institutions cannot ask for the tuition fees from the students for the exchanges.
- In cases, where a Flemish home institution has selected a Flemish student, enrolled at the home institution and send to the Asian host institution and the selection has been accepted by the Asian host institution. A Flemish student will be defined as a student from any nationality, subscribed in a Flemish Higher Education Institution.
- In case a Flemish student has already enrolled in the exchange or an Asian has student has already stayed in Belgium/ Flanders before the application period for DUO-Belgium/Flanders 2020, then the application will not be accepted.

Candidates planning to take part in the exchange program are advised to contact the concerned authority such as International Relations Offices of the higher education institution to file an application for the exchange. The last date to submit the application for the exchange programme is April 1st, 2020
