In 2017, there is a moderate demand for engineering courses in Maharashtra. Many students who are passing out of Class 10 are opting for ITIs instead of Polytechnic courses. The demand for polytechnic courses has been declining every year. Usually, the candidates who pass out from Diploma in Polytechnic can seek direct admission to B.Tech (Lateral Entry) course.
