MHT CET B.Tech Counselling 2024 likely by First Week of JulyMHT CET B.Tech Counselling 2024: The State CET Cell, Maharashtra has not yet released the schedule for MHT CET B.Tech Counselling 2024. However, the authority on June 26 launched a separate CAP counselling portal for AY 2024-25 admissions. As MHT CET counselling registration started on June 24 last year, it is now expected that MHT CET 2024 counselling will commence anytime soon as well. The most expected date was before June 30 but CET Cell has again displayed the question paper and answer keys on the request of the parents and students. It is likely to delay MHT CET counselling for both PCM and PCB groups to post June 30, the deadline for the display of the answer/response sheets. The delay in counselling is also because of the postponement of the examination due to general elections this year.
After MHT CET counselling registration 2024, the document verification will be conducted at offline Facilitation Centres and online via E-scrutiny. After the verification, a merit list will be released and allotment will be done in three phases. The seat allotted candidate will pay the required confirmation fee to confirm their seat and self-report to the respective college.

MHT CET B.Tech Counselling Process 2024

Online Registration : The candidates must visit the official website to register themselves for the counselling. Candidates should upload the required documents such as HSC marksheet, MHT CET/JEE scorecards, income and caste certificates (if applicable), etc.
Document Verification: Candidates can select either E-scrutiny mode or Physical mode during application form for document verification. Accordingly, the candidates will have to visit their nearest Facilitation Centre to get their documents verified.
Merit List: For documents verified candidates, merit ranks will be allotted. Grievances against merit list will be considered and a final merit list will be released.
Option Preferences: Students will have to choose institutes and courses in order of their preference for seat allocation.
Seat Allotment: Based on the option preferences and ranks of the candidates, seat allocation will be conducted in three rounds.
