MHT CET CAP round 2 vacant seats are the unoccupied seats left after the completion of Round 1 counselling. Just the seat matrix for round 1, a separate matrix for vacant seats has also been released by the CET Cell which will detail the institute-wise, course-wise, and reservation-wise number of leftover seats. MHT CET CAP Round 2 Seat Matrix has been published on October 22, 2022. The seat matrix for the vacant or leftover seats to be considered for the second round of counselling can be downloaded through the following link.

Once opened, candidates only need to search the institute name or code in the PDF, then scroll down to find their desired course, and the vacant seat distribution for that specific institute & course will be displayed on the screen. If using a computer, Ctrl + F keys are used to search.

CET Cell allows the candidates to edit their option form before each round of counselling. This lets candidates select the best preference for admission based on their scores and to do so, the seat matrix for vacant seats proves to be very useful. Instructions on how to edit your option based on the seat matrix for the best results are given below:

• Foremost, list out the most prominent colleges and courses where you wish to take admission and know which category you wish to apply for such as TFWS, EWS, or regular, etc.
• Search your college name or code in the PDF and scroll down to your branch option. Note down the seats available as per your reservation category. Candidates in any category, if their annual income is less than 8 lakh per annum, are eligible for TFWS or the Tuition Fee Waiver Seats.
• Once done, refer to the cutoffs of round 1 this year here: MHT CET CAP Round 1 Cutoff 2022 . You may also refer to MHT CET 2022 Previous Years' Cutoff PDF
• Open the PDF and check the cutoffs for the colleges you have listed in your respective category. Also, it is expected that the cutoff for Round 2 will be reduced by an average of 3 to 5 percentiles (may differ with institute and course) in Round 2 allocation.
