MHT CET CAP Round 3 Option Form 2022 Released: Link, Last Date, Important Instructions

MHT CET CAP Round 3 Option Form 2022 has been released today, Saturday, November 05, 2022 , on its official website @fe2022.mahacet.org . The option form is accessible only to those candidates who have registered for the counselling but have not taken admission at any institute in the previous two rounds. Those who have not exercised the option form in the previous rounds are also eligible. It is important to note that—without the submission of MHT CET round 3 option form, the candidate will not be considered for the seat allotment. As Round 3 is the final counselling round, no betterment option will be available henceforth and the seats as allotted in round 3 will auto-freeze. Thus, extra caution shall be exercised while editing MHT CET option form for round 3. The option form is available through the candidate’s login and the last date for submission is Monday, November 07.

The choice to directly import the previous round’s option form as well as to submit fresh option preferences is given by the CET CEll. Candidates can exercise 300 options at most. It is advised to refer to the last round cut-off and leftover seat vacancies in order to list out the college-branch options available in the candidate’s respective merit range.

Instructions for MHT CET CAP Round 3 Option Form

Important guidelines to fill out the option form are enlisted below:

• While a candidate is free to advise options from any cutoff range, it is advised to additionally exercise at least ten options of your choice which are available at your merit range. This will increase the chances of having your seat upgraded/allotted.
• Also refer to the seat vacancies available after round 2 counselling (link above) to list out the options.
• The option form can be saved and edited any number of times before the given deadline, November 7. But once the candidate confirms the option form through OTP verification, it cannot be edited again under any circumstances. The forms not locked voluntarily will be auto-locked as last saved on the portal after the deadline.
• Keep your preferences noted down before making the submission. Due to the server problem, candidates have faced the problem of being logged out after submission of the option form, thus having to re-enter the option preferences. It is also due to this reason that it is advised to fill out and save the option form prior to the deadline. No grievances in this regard will later on be entertained.
