On Saturday, February 23, 2019, Rahul Gandhi addressed the university students at the JLN Stadium. During his interaction with students, Rahul Gandhi responded to the questions asked by the students on various topics. Questions on the employment situation of the country were also raised to what he responded by saying that not many jobs are being created in the country despite a population of 1.2 billion people.
He added that the country is indeed facing "Job Crisis" and suggested that the state should pay for a bigger part of the education of students and that the budget should have an increased share for the education sector.
During the interaction session - Shiksha: Dasha Aur Disha , the Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi also mentioned that he believes privatisation is not a way to improve the education system of the country. He presented the figures for the number of jobs created per 24 hours in India and compared them with China.

Along with the present Congress Chief, the former Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit was also present at the JLN Stadium on Saturday. Apart from responding to the questions of the university students that were present there, homage was paid to the CRPF Jawans that martyred in the Pulwama Attack on 14th February.
