The Madhya Pradesh Higher and Technical Education have postponed the undergraduate and postgraduate due to the COVID-19 outbreak in India. With the number of cases rising in India as well as the state, the UG/ PG exams have been postponed to ensure the safety of the students.
According to the official notification of the MP government, the higher education department examinations were scheduled from June 29th to 31st, while the examinations of the technical education department were to be held from June 16th to 31st, but the state government will announce the revised schedule soon after the situation is stable. Watch out space for the revised exam updates!
The decision was taken due to an increase in the number of cases of COVID 19 in the state. The Technical Education Department was worried about the safety of the students. Meanwhile, educationists, parents, and students are asking the government to postpone exams such as NEET, JEE Main , and CLAT as the number of cases is increasing. Meanwhile, the petition to cancel the remaining CBSE board exams has also been filed by the parents in the Supreme Court. CICSE has given ICSE students an option/ chance to opt-out of the exams. The results will be released on the basis of internal assessment for the remaining subjects.
