NEET Super Speciality (NEET-SS) – a single window entrance exam – will be organized by the National Board of Examinations on June 10, 2017, across various cities in India. Admission to advanced postgraduate courses in the field of medicine such as MCh, DM and PDCC is done on the basis of NEET-SS.

NEET-SS 2017 will be conducted as a single eligibility cum entrance exam. Admission to various medical and dental courses offered by private, deemed and Armed Forces Medical Services institutions across India for the session 2017 basis NEET-SS 2017.
Examinations conducted at state levels, by the institutions, university, colleges or any such entrance will not be considered for admission according to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 effective from the academic session 2017.
Following are the institutions that do not come under the radius of NEET-SS:
- AIIMS, New Delhi
- SRI CHITRA Thiruvananthapuram
- PGIMER, Chandigarh
- JIPMER, Puducherry
- NIMHANS, Bengaluru
Exam Pattern:
NEET-SS is a computer-based test that consists of 200 multiple choice questions that are compiled using the curriculum of MD or MS programmes that is prescribed by the Medical Council of India under the guidelines and approval of the Union Health Ministry.

National Board of Examinations (NBE) is an autonomous body that was founded in 1982 by the government of India. The prime role of the organization is to conduct post-graduate examinations at all-India level. The board is also responsible for conducting NEET-PG for courses like MD, MS and PG diploma, NEET MDS 2017 and AIPGMEE.
