NMIMS Deemed to be University has introduced B.Com and BBA degree programs in distance and online mode. This is a great opportunity for candidates located in distant locations to pursue degree courses such as B.Com and BBA.
Rajiv Shah, CEO & Director, NMIMS Global Access informed the ongoing COVID-19 crisis has changed the way look at the world, and with the launch of online B.Com and BBA degree courses students will be able to pursue higher education anywhere, anytime. He informed that the NMIMS Global Access team has diligently created the degree courses keeping in mind the industry trends. The distance B.Com and BBA degree programs will provide students with access to expert faculty pool and industry experts.

The degree courses by NMIMS Global Access will provide eligible candidates from distant parts of the country to have access to quality education and to pursue higher education. The classes will take place online via live-interactive-lectures-online. Students will also have access to 'Student Portal', this will give them an option to stay connected with the faculty even when the classes are not live. They will also have access to an e-library through the portal, during, and after completion of the program.
Dr. Shalini Kalia, Chief Academic Officer, NMIMS Global Access informed that the ongoing crisis has led many institutions to experiment with online education and to make it beyond classroom teaching. According to her, the B.Com and BBA online degree courses launched by NMIMS will make students job-ready for the post-COVID-19 era which will require dynamic skill sets and the courses offered by them are about the same.
