The Andhra Pradesh Government announced, "The DEECET-2016 test will be conducted through online module". DEECET is an examination conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Government for admission into their two year D.Ed. course in various D.Ed. colleges of Andhra Pradesh. Initially the government planned to conduct the examination in offline module. But suddenly the government has changed its decision to conduct the examination in online mode. The DEECET-2016 examination is on 12-May-2016. The government has extended the date of application to 27-April-2016.
Candidates who are appearing for DEECT-2016 examination are feeling nervous as the government hasn’t made any arrangements to educate the candidates regarding online test. The candidates who appear for DEECET are generally +2 students and most probably from Village background. The candidates and parents are demanding the education department to create awareness regarding online examination.
Government hasn’t made any arrangements so far. There is no proper clarity regarding which company is going to take up the project of conducting online test. The government has invited tenders for conducting online examination, but received poor response.
Apart from this, DEECET received poor response this year. So far only 52,000 candidates have registered for the examination. Every year more than 1,50,000 candidates used to apply for the test. But this year the response is not up to the expectations.
Due to the confusion regarding online test and poor response top tenders, the DEECET online test is likely to postpone. Official announcement is yet to be made.
