Poweric Conducted Placement Drive at GEC

Reputed Chennai based multi-national company Poweric conducted placement drive at Reputed Chennai based multi-national company Poweric conducted placement drive at Guntur Engineering College on 3-April-2016. The company officials were welcomed in a grand manner by the college management and students. HR official of the company, Mr.Sujith conducted the interviews. The placement drive was inaugurated by college principal, Dr.Pandarinath. The interviews were conducted for the final year EEE and ECE students of the college. Company officials gave an introduction about the company and detailed the process of interview. Three round of interview were conducted which included a preliminary written test, technical round and HR round. The placement drive evoked good response as total number of 67 students attended the interviews. Out of them 9 students got placed at the HR round. The HR official congratulated the students and gave them appointment letters. The students are offered annual package of Rs.2,00,000. College principal, Dr.Pandarinath said, “The College has excellent placement percentage. A total number of 352 students selected in campus placements which were conducted in the academic year 2015-2016. The college has excellent faculty and infrastructure facilities. The college is also bestowed with a skills development center”. He congratulated the students. Students thanked the college management and faculty for being supportive.
