President and PM of India Pay Tribute to Dr. Radhakrishnan on Teacher’s Day

President of India, Mr.Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi of New Delhi pay tribute to Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary, which is known as Teacher's Day across the country.

President and Prime Minister of India, Mr. Ram Nath Kovind and Mr. Narendra Modi respectively paid tribute to the country’s second President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary, which is celebrated as Teachers’ Day across the country.

Mr. Kovind, while paying the tribute tweeted "On Teachers' Day, I pay homage to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan and extend heartiest greetings to all teachers of our nation. May our great gurus guide us in building a nation and a world full of wisdom, peace & harmony."

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was not only an exemplary teacher but was also a philosopher, politician & scholar. He dedicated his work to education, which helped shaped the youth of the country in the early years of democracy.
