A notice has been issued to Directorate of Medical Education(DME) which if passed will change the face of private medical colleges. The notice was issued by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare also known as MoHFW and it states that the 4 new private medical colleges of Madhya Pradesh will charge a fee similar to government medical college. They each have 150 seats in total, they provide 600 medical seats to the state.

Following are the names of 4 new private medical institutes of MP:
- Advanced Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Bhopal
- Modern Institute of Medical Sciences & Sewakunj Hospital & Research Centre, Kanadia, Indore
- Sukh Sagar Medical College & Hospital, Mouza, Chargawan, Jabalpur
- Amaltas Institute of Medical Sciences, Dewas Ujjain

If the directive is issued then the students will only have to pay one-tenth of the fee a private institute charge. Dr GS Patel who is the DME said that the letter he received from MoHFW contained a reference to Supreme Court making an Oversight Committee to ensure that the fee of these medical institutes is same as a government medical institute.
The counselling rounds for admission into both government and private colleges will start soon and the registration for the rounds has already started from 25
