Punjab B.Ed Merit List 2022: Last Date of Reporting to College

The candidates should report for admission through PI login to the web portal on or before September 19, 2022. Along with the PI login, the candidates should send a soft copy of duly signed (in PDF format) by the head of the Institute to the coordinator through email ID- pbbeadmission2022@gndu.ac.in.

Punjab B.Ed Merit List 2022: Instructions about Counselling

• Seat allocation does not refer the confirmation of admission
• The admission will be confirmed by the concerned college after the document verification process
• The candidates, who will be allotted to the college as per their first choice, they should pay a Rs of 1000 (in case they will like to shift to some other college after second counselling)

How to Filling Seats through Punjab B.Ed 2022 Counselling?

At first, the counselling of All India category will be held. After that if there will be any vacant seat in All India category, that will be converted to 85% of state category. Then the counselling process for Science subject will be conducted. Again, if there will be vacant seats in the science category, then that will be converted to the Arts category. Next the counselling for the Arts category will be started.

Punjab B.Ed 2022 counselling process will be done in two rounds for completing the admission. If the candidates will be called for the second counselling process, then only they will be allowed for the shifting of seats.

How to Calculate Merit?

While calculating merit, credit of 1% of maximum marks will be given to the students seeking under 85% category, who have passed class 10 and 12 examination from the schools located in rural areas of Punjab. For this the students have to submit a certificate issued by the principal or head of the school.

How to Prepare Combined Merit List of Punjab B.Ed 2022?

The combined merit list of Punjab B.Ed 2022 will be prepared based on the marks secured by the students in CET exam. The minimum qualifying marks for the General category candidates and the reserved category candidates are 25% and 20% respectively.

Punjab B.Ed Provisional Merit List 2022: Fees and Funds

The candidates can check here the fees and funds for completing admission.

• The fee and funds structure in private self-financed colleges of education will be according to the instructions issued by the Government of Punjab
• The colleges will charge only 50% of the fee of first semester during the admission time
• Concerned colleges should have to be informed in advance about the stay in hostel, whether it is compulsory or not. If the answer is yes, then along with the admission fees, the hostel charges will also be included

The candidates, who will be allotted seats through the online process, the candidates should bring the following documents to the allotted college as per the schedule.

• Rank of candidates as per CET notified by GNDU, Amritsar
• Admit card of CET
• Printed copy of online application form
• Detailed marks card of Matric, and Degrees of all exam
• Character certificate (from the last attended Institute)
• Residence/ Domicile Certificate
• Reservation category certificate (if any)

• The grades a student earn on the prerequisite degree exam
• Candidates' score on any college entrance exams administered will be considered
• Candidates in same position on merit list will be evaluated as per the qualifying exam marks percentage

If two or more candidates have equal marks in the CET, then to break the tie the authority will follow the below mentioned criteria.

• Candidates with higher percentage of marks in qualifying degree (only graduation)
