Trinity College invites applicants from India to apply for Ramanujan Research Studentship. The scholarship will be granted to students who wish to pursue a Ph.D. in Pure and Applied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge.
Ramanujan Research Studentship is granted to establish a connection between Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan and the Trinity College. The applicant must first complete a course of nine months leading the candidate to hold a Master of Advanced Study (MASt) in Mathematics. The candidate who successfully completes MASt with distinction and register for the Ph.D. program will be considered for a scholarship for the next three years.

Eligibility Criteria for Ramanujan Research Studentship
Here are basic eligibility criteria to be considered for Ramanujan Research Studentship:
- The Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- Must hold a First Class Honours degree or equivalent from a recognised university.
- Must be enrolled in MASt degree in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge to be considered for Ramanujan Research Studentship.
- The student must be willing to study Ph.D. in Pure and Applied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge.
How to Receive Preliminary Application Form?
Candidate can receive a copy of the Preliminary Application Form by sending an email to gradfunding@trin.cam.ac.uk. The shortlisted candidate can submit the full studentship application by 31st January 2020.
