RGUKT AP Selection List 2023: Selection Method

Admission to the two years PUC and four years B.Tech program will be done based on the marks obtained in the SSC or equivalent examination, held in 2023. 

• If the candidates have studied in Government schools, then there will be a deprivation score of 4% will be added to the obtainable marks scored by the candidates in each subject in SSC/ equivalent exam 2023
• If the Board have declared the results in grades, then an equivalency factor recommended by the Governing Council of RGUKT will be used for converting the grades into the marks

RGUKT AP Selection List 2023: Admission of Students from Other States and International Students

• Tuition fees for the candidates other than AP and Telangana states will be Rs 150000 per annum
• The tuition fees for the NRI/ International candidates will be Rs 300000 per annum
• Students should also pay Rs 3000 per month to the University as the mess charge

• The tuition fees for the candidates who studied in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states will be Rs 45000 per annum for the PUC program and Rs 50000 per annum for the B.Tech program
• Candidates should pay monthly Rs 3000 per month as mess charges to the University
• Every student should pay an admission fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for reserved category candidates)

RGUKT AP Selection List 2023: Reservation of Seats

There will be a total of 4000 seats for all four campuses (1000 per campus) available this year. Along with it, there will be an additional 400 supernumerary seats for EWS candidates. Check out the seat reservation criteria for RGUKT AP 2023 here-

• 85% seats for Andhra Pradesh candidates
• 15% for open merit (both for AP and Telangana)
• 5% supernumerary seats will be available for candidates belong to the states other than AP and Telangana

If two or more candidates get the same marks, then the authority will apply the tie-breaking policy to release the RGUKT AP Selection List 2023.

• Higher marks in Mathematics will get first priority
• Higher marks in General Science will get the next priority
• Higher marks in English will get the next priority
• Higher marks in Social Studies will get the next priority
• Higher marks in First Language will get the next priority
• Elder candidates in date of birth will get a higher preference
• Lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number

Once the authority will release the RGUKT AP selection list 2023, the call letter for the selected candidates will also be published on the official website. Post that the candidates should attend the certificate verification process and for the same, the candidates should carry the following list of documents-

• Caste Certificate (Only SC/ ST/ BC)
• EWS Certificate (Issued in 2021 or 2022)
