Sarita Devi Became IIHM's Brand Ambassador

State pugilist and Arjuna awardee Laishram Sarita Devi has been recently announced as the brand ambassador of International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), Kolkata .

Among the offers made by IIHM which has seven institutes across the country and one at Bangkok, Sarita inked an agreement with the institute to sponsor boxing kits for her boxing academy - Sarita Regional Boxing Academy which is at Mayang Imphal.

In a programme held at Mayang Imphal today, National boxing champion and former world champion Laishram Sarita Devi said that she opened her boxing academy in the year 2012 and around 60 students are being trained by an instructor without any charges.

Accepting the offer made by the IIHM to be the brand ambassador, we also made an agreement to sponsor playing kids three times a year to my boxing academy', she added.

She also informed further that players from her academy have participated at many National level boxing tournaments and have brought laurels to the State.
