SBI Foundation's Youth For India Program 2023-24 BeginsSBI Foundation has started inviting a diverse and passionate cohort of fellows for the SBI Youth for India Program 2023-24. The 13 months journey will enable participants to work toward making a positive change in underserved communities across the nation. The goal of the SBI Foundations Youth For India Program 2023 is to enhance the socio-economic well-being of the underprivileged members of society. Participants will work with rural communities in thematic areas like Health, Rural Livelihood, Food Security, Environmental Protection, Education, Water, Technology, and more.

Through this programme, the young minds of India communicate with rural communities, gain an understanding of their challenges, and collaborate to develop sustainable solutions. The fellowship programme gives young people from cities in India a chance to make a big difference at the grass-roots level by working on development projects in rural areas with 14 NGOs. The Fellowship gives India a way to grow that is fair and sustainable by putting educated people to work in rural areas. Over 1 lakh people in 20 states have been helped by the programme in the past 10 years.
Dr. Chandra Mohan B, Principal Secretary, Tamil Nadu Cadre, Government of India, said, "After 10 batches, the SBI Youth for India Fellowship programme has become one of the most prestigious programmes in the country for training people to work in development." It chooses bright and passionate young professionals from a wide range of fields and puts them in touch with some of the best grass-roots NGOs in the country so they can work with them.
