School and College Holiday Tomorrow, 18 October 2024: The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rainfall in three districts of Andhra Pradesh for October 18, 2024 . This will likely result in school and college holidays in the districts of Annamayya, Tirupathi, and SPSR Nellore . However, no holiday was announced on October 17 in Tamil Nadu due to less rainfall as per the weather forecast. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that there will be school and college holidays in the districts of Tamil Nadu on October 18. The official confirmation on School and College Holiday Tomorrow 18 October 2024 in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh is still awaited and will be updated on this page.

Additionally, districts such as Prakasam, YSR Kadapa, Srisathyasai, and Anantapuramu have been issued an orange alert due to the ongoing rainfall.
