School of Archival Studies Begins Application Process for Course in Records Management

Candidates can start applying for the short-term certificate course in 'Records Management' at School of Archival Studies, National Archives of India. The course will be conducted from September 2-September 26, 2019.

Certificate Course in Records Management

The School of Archival Studies (National Archives of India) has started accepting applications for the short term certificate course in ‘Records Management’. The course will be conducted from September 2-September 26, 2019. The course looks at training the participants in areas such as the creation, control and disposition of records. There will be two categories under which students will be admitted-private and sponsored. The seats will be reserved in accordance with the government of India norms for OBC/ST/SC persons with disability. Records Management Course Eligibility Criteria 2019

The eligibility criteria for pursuing this short-term course in ‘Records Management’ is that the candidates should have completed their graduation in any subject from recognised institution/university. The candidate should be below 30 in the case of private applicants and the age should be below 50 when it comes to sponsored candidates. Age relaxation for the candidates belonging to reserved categories is as per the government norms.

Records Management Course Application Process 2019

The application form can be accessed from the link ‘What's New’ by visiting the official website of National Archives. Candidates have to pay Rs. 100 as registration fee to apply for this course via crossed Indian Postal Orders/Bank Draft in favour of ‘Administrative Officer, National Archives of India, Janpath, New Delhi-110011’. The application along with the attested copies of educational qualifications and DD with the registration fee needs to reach the ‘Director General of Archives, National Archives of India, Janpath, New Delhi-110011, latest by August 16, 2019. The sponsored candidates need to apply through a proper channel. Candidates are also required to pay the course fee of Rs.200 at the time of admission. There are no boarding and lodging facilities available at the school.
