Selection Process & Counselling Procedure after RBI (Assistant examination)

RBI is being conducted every year RBI Entrance Test for the admission to Assistant Post. Here is the detailed information about Selection and counselling process.

Selection Procedure: -

• The selection Procedure will be recommended on the basis of merit of eligible candidates determined by the rank obtained in the entrance examination.
• Only selected candidates will be called for interview who stand sufficiently high in Marks or merit of the Objective Tests, such merit Candidates being decided by the Bank or selection committee in relation to the number of vacancies to be filled in.
• Final selection will be on the basis of candidate's Marks in the online main examination and interview taken together in order of merit and selected candidate.

Interview / Counselling Process:-

• Candidates will have to visit the RBI website for downloading call letters for online test (preliminary as well as main).Intimation for downloading call letter will also be sent through email/SMS. Once the candidate clicks the relevant link, he/she can access the window for call letter download.
• The candidate is required to use -Registration Number/Roll Number, Password/Date of Birth for downloading the call letter.
• Candidate needs to attached photograph on the call letter preferably the same as provided during registration and appear at the examination centre with Call Letter and Photo Identity Proof as stipulated in clause below and also specified in the call letter and photocopy of the same Photo Identity Proof as brought in original. The candidates will have to appear for the exam (preliminary as well as main) at their own cost.
• Note: Candidates have to produce in original the photo identity proof and submit a photocopy of the photo identity proof along with Examination call letter as well as the Interview Call Letter while attending the online examinations as well as an interview, without which they will not be allowed to take up the examination/ interview. Female candidates who have changed first/last/middle name post marriage must take special note of this. If there is any mismatch between the name indicated in the Call Letter and Photo Identity Proof the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the examination (preliminary as well as main).

Documents Required while counselling for RBI (Assistant Examination).

• Candidates Should be submitted their Age/Qualification/Category certificates at the time of interview by the candidates called for interview.
• Caste certificate submitted by candidate If the candidate belong from the any reserved category(SC/ST/OBC)
• Candidates seeking age relaxation are required, candidates should submit their copies of necessary certificate(s) at the time of interview.
• Candidates should be carry their photocopy of the candidate’s recent photo identity such as Aadhar card with a photograph /PANCard/ Passport/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead/ Photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead/ valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized college/ university / Employee ID/ Bar CouncilIdentity card with photograph should be submitted to the invigilator for verification.
