Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju Engineering College also known as SRKR Engineering College has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with With Andhra Pradesh Space Application Centre (APSAC). The MoU was signed for the purpose of research over the environment conservation of the Kolleru region as stated by Dr M Gajapatiraju, the college in-change principle.
Sagi Vittal Rangaraju, the college secretary as well as a college committee member Sagi Ramakrishna Nishant Varma have stated that the details of the partnership have been put forth to the media on Friday 12th April 2019.
The Kolleru regions consist of the largest freshwater lake that is found in India. The Vittal Rangaraju, a member from the college, said that there were many other development and research programmes that were being undertaken under the guidance of Dr C V Ramakrishnam Raju, R&D Dean. The college had also undertaken various research and development programmes on the Kolleru water and environment conservation and protection. This is the first time that they have collaborated on a project with the government.

The Sagi Ramakrishnam Raju Engineering College provides the students with programmes in the various engineering fields that are found in some of the top engineering colleges in India . The SRKR Engineering College has 6 engineering courses each on offer in both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The college also offers an MCA degree as well. Along with the undergraduate and postgraduate courses, the college also offers the students with the option of choosing between research and certificate courses.
