It was a proud moment for Globsyn Business School as the B-School's student achieved a new height in the national level seminar. Supratim Ghosh, a student from this well known Business School emerged as a winner in the paper submission competition at the National Seminar on ‘Emerging Trends in Management and Information Technology 2016’ .
The exclusive National Seminar was organised by Rourkela Institute of Management Studies and it held at the same college only.The Seminar was a gateway to all the Mangement and Business students from each and every recognised Colleges and University from all over India who wanted to showcase their talent and gain the reputation of applause from the jury. More than 60 renowned Business and Mangement Schools from different states participated in the conference.The competition in each level was tough to handle as the level of battle was high at stake with the champions from each part of India competing for the same goal.
Finally, the winners prevailed the game and it was Supratim Ghosh from Globsyn Business School took third place in the ultimate battle with his incredible capabilities and excellent form of presentation.The paper for which he won the third prize the paper presentation competition was titled as ‘Comprehending the influence of semiotics in Marketing Communication and Branding during Indian Festivals’.The paper was mainly based on the development of marketing strategies that may opt for by the various Business groups with regards to the diverse nature of festivity and different festivals celebrated in different parts of India, a complete paper associated with innovative ideologies that may prove to be extremely worthful in near future for different business and marketing groups.The paper was selected in the third position among near about 150 papers submitted by differents students from various institutes. The paper is also co-authored with Dr. Debraj Datta, an eminent professor of Globsyn Business School. Being delighted with this achievement made by a champion student, Bikram Dasgupta, Founder & Executive Chairman, Globsyn Group congratulated Supratim for his excellent performance.
