Students of Andhra Pradesh secured excellent ranks in the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka, a National Level entrance test conducted by Karnataka state government for the admission into Engineering, Medical and Dental courses at various colleges of Karnataka. The results of COMED-K were released on 27-May-2016. Students of Andhra Pradesh secured 3 ranks among Top-10.
Toppers of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana:-
- Sai Himal Allu of Hyderabad secured National Level 3 rd Rank. He secured 166/180 marks.
- A. Siva of Kurnool secured National Level 4 th Rank. He scored 165/180 marks.
- C. Nithya of Gunttakal secured National level 6 th Rank. She secured 164/180 marks.
The examination was held on 8-May-2016. The examination was held across 697 examination centers of India. A total number of 55,680 candidates appeared for the examination. A pass percentage of 81 have been recorded. 56 candidates of Karnataka secured ranks among Top-100. A total number of 417 candidates of Karnataka secured top thousand ranks. Boys outshine girls in the examination and stood as toppers.
The toppers of Andhra Pradesh were congratulated by Minister of Human Resources, Mr. Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Minister of Education, Dokka Manikya Prasad and Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
