Due to the pandemic and all pass guidelines in the 10th, the admission for this year will be done on the basis of 9th exam scores. However, the colleges are yet to receive the guidelines on the admission process on the basis of the 9th score. One of the main reasons is the hesitation of headmasters of government schools, both government and private, to issue transfer certificates to the students. For the one plus students, admission has already started on the basis of prioritizing the students who have scored well in the exam. As stated by one of the headmasters of a government higher secondary school, it is not a positive decision to issue transfer certificates in terms of the teacher-student ratio at the higher secondary level.
