Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Tamil Nadu has started the choice entry for TNEA counselling on July 13 for Round 2.Candidates who have a rank from 9873 to 30926 can enter and lock their choices latest by 15th July 2019 (5 pm).DTE has also opened the online payment for Round 3 of TNEA counselling from rank 30927 to 64093. Also, candidates are advised that they must complete the initial payment process and choice filling before 17th July 2019 by 5 PM.
The initial round of payment to be part of the TNEA counselling started on 3rd July 2019. The authority responsible for regulating the entire procedure is the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu. A rank list is prepared every year based on the marks scored by the candidates who appear in the examination. Those who made it to the list released by the authority earlier, can now pay the fee and register their names in order to take part in the counselling process.
Candidates who fail to exercise the options or decline the seat in the TNEA first round can take part in the subsequent rounds.

The different rounds of TNEA counselling provide the provision to students with different ranks to participate in the process. It is to be noted that the ones who do not pay the counselling fee will not be considered for the process of allotment.
To pay the fees the students will have to visit the official website of TNEA 2019. The link for payment is generally found on the home screen of the examination authority. Students are required to fill their registration number and password in order to proceed with the payment process.
