TNEA Round 1 Counselling 2023 likely to begin by July 14The DoTE, Tamil Nadu will tentatively commence the TNEA round 1 counselling for B.Tech admission by July 14, 2023. The authority has yet to release any official news or confirm the date. TNEA round 1 counselling process includes the steps like the choice filling process, seat allotment and seat confirmation process, and reporting to the allotted colleges.
To participate in the TNEA counselling process, the candidates should visit the official website- tneaonline.org and participate in the choice-filling process. During this process, the candidates should enter their choices of colleges as per their preferences. Based on that the authority will publish the TNEA round 1 counselling seat allotment result on the official website.

- Choice Filling: The candidates, whose names have been displayed in the TNEA merit list, will be eligible to participate in the choice-filling process. During this process, the candidates should choose the colleges as per their preferences. The candidates are advised to select the colleges from the available list as many as they can so that the chances of getting a seat in the allotment process will be high
- Seat Allotment and Seat Confirmation: The authority will release the TNEA round 1 seat allotment result as per the scheduled date based on the choices entered by the candidates and the merit list. Post that, if the candidates will be satisfied with the seat allotment, then they should accept the seat by paying the seat acceptance fees
- Report to the Allotted Colleges: The candidates should report to the allotted colleges as per the seat allotment by the scheduled date. To report to the colleges, the candidates should carry the seat allotment letter along with the other required documents
