The shortlisted candidates have to confirm the allotted seat by 5 PM on August 2. Later, the candidates have to report to their allotted institutes between August 3 and 7, 2024. However, the applicants who will look for a better opportunity in the consecutive rounds have to wait for Round 2 seat allotment results—the provisional seat allotment for upward-opted candidates before 10 AM of August 8, 2024.

The students shortlisted in the first round of TNEA Engineering Counselling 2024 have to report to their allotted institutes along with the original documents and certificates of qualification. Also, any candidate whose certificate is found to be untrue or invalid, he/she will be disqualified.
