TNPSC DEO Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The commission has specified the eligibility conditions for the post of Group 1 DEO in the notification released. The following are the TNPSC DEO eligibility criteria -

TNPSC DEO Age Limit

The minimum age for each category must be 18 years as on 1st July 2022
The maximum age limit criteria is different for each category -

Category	TNPSC DEO Upper Age Limit
SC/ST/MBCs/DCs/BC(OBCMs)/BCMs/Widows	No upper age limit
Others	Open Market - Less than 32 years For teachers - less than 42 years

TNPSC DEO Educational Qualification

The candidates must have completed a post-graduation degree from a recognised state/central/private university with at least 50% marks aggregate in any of the subjects i.e. Physics, Mathematics, Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, Economics, History, Geography, English, Commerce, and Tamil AND
Completed B.T./B.Ed or equivalent from a recognised university AND
Must have studied the Tamil language as a subject in schooling
