TNTET 2022 Application Form has been released at trb.tn.nic.in on March 14, 2022 . The TNTET Notification was released on March 07, 2022, stating that the TNTET Application Form will be accessible until April 13, 2022 . Steps to Apply for TNTET 2022

To apply for TNTET 2022, candidates must visit trb.tn.nic.in. On the TN TRB website homepage, click on the 'TNTET Application Form 2022' link. Upon doing so, the page will be redirected to a new tab with all essential instructions. Read through all of the listed instructions and thereafter click on the 'Proceed to the Application Form'. It is strongly advised that candidates must only use desktop devices to apply for the TNTET 2022 Exam.

Pre-requisites for TNTET Registration 2022

  • Caste Certificate
  • Computer with a proper internet connection
  • ID proof (Aadhaar Card/ Driving License/ PAN card)
  • Passport Size Photograph
  • Qualifications Certificate as per the eligibility requirements
  • Signature on a white unruled paper

Step 1: Enter Details in the TNTET Application Form 2022

  1. Candidates must fill out the details requested on the TNTET Application Form 2022, which are broadly stated as below:
    • Personal Details of the Candidate (Name, Guardian’s Names, DOB, Address, Contact Information, etc.)
    • Academic Details of the Candidate (Qualification, etc.)
    • Preferred Examination Centres
    • Preferred Language of the Examination
    • Details if Specially-abled
    • Security PIN
  2. Before clicking on the ‘Next’ button, candidates must verify the information to be correct. If the information needs to be reset, a ‘Reset’ option is also provided.
  3. Once the information is rechecked, click on the ‘Next’ button.
  4. The candidates will be directed to a Review Page. Review the information again carefully, then click on the ‘Proceed’ button.

Note: At this point, a registration number will be issued. Write down this number or take a screenshot as it will be required for future use.

Step 2: Uploading the Documents

Uploading your passport-size photograph and signature is the second step in completing the online form. The following are the specifications for each of the documents:

Note: Candidates must take a note that their photograph should be preferred on a white background. The photograph should be taken such as both ears of the candidate are visible. The photograph must be latest and no goggles/spectacles should be worn while taking the photo. For the signature, it should be clear and signed on a white unruled paper only.

Step 3: Payment of Application Fee

After successfully uploading the scanned files of the photograph and signature, the page will automatically be redirected to the payment page. The payment of fees is available online only via Net Banking, Credit or Debit Card.  The following is the list of the application fees as per category:

Note: Candidates must note that under no circumstances will the fee be refunded once it has been paid. Any offline payment method (DD/Postal order, etc.) will not be accepted. Candidates who wish to take both Paper 1 and Paper 2 must pay the fees separately for each.

Step 4: Download/Print the Confirmation Page

Once the payment is done, candidates must download/print the confirmation page for future reference. At the bottom of the page, two separate options for ‘Print’ and ‘Download’ will be provided. Click on the respective buttons to either print or download the TNTET Application Form 2022.

TNTET 2022 Application Form Correction

Candidates are strongly recommended to take the utmost precaution when filling out the online application form. Once the form has been submitted, there is no provision provided to make amends/changes to it.

Important Instructions

  • Applications that are incomplete will be rejected outright.
  • Applications that do not have the subject option specified will be rejected as well.
  • Forms with blurred photographs/signatures will be rejected.
  • Similarly, forms with photographs/signatures failing to meet the given specifications will be rejected as well.
  • Any information entered outside the fields supplied will not be read by the computer because the form is computer-readable and pre-programmed. Such applications will be considered invalid.
  • For future reference, a hard copy of the filled-in and signed application form along with the acknowledgment should be kept.
  • Any hard copy of the application form sent to the TN TRB by any means will be rejected. Only online submissions are allowed.

Candidates who pass the TNTET Exam are considered eligible to be hired as Government Teachers in Tamil Nadu schools.
