Prof. T. G. Sitharam, Director, IIT Guwahati talked about the achievements of the institute. He said that Research and Development is an important aspect of IIT Gandhinagar. The institute is dedicated to offering the best research and academic programme under all the disciplines. Further, he added the ranking in top 50 Young Universities In Chemistry gives a clear picture of the vision of the institute to become a 'Tower of Excellence' to a 'Network of Excellence.' He said that the aim of the institute is to contribute to the overall development of the nation.
