TS Police Constable Prelims Exam 2022 will be conducted by the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) for more than six lakh candidates for posts of PC(Civil) and/or posts that are equivalent to it, Transport Constables and Prohibitions and Excise Constables on August 28, 2022. Candidates who are appearing for the exam can download their admit card for the TS Police Constable Prelims examination and the last date for downloading the admit card is August 26, 2022. Previously the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board conducted the Preliminary Written Test for Sub-Inspector posts on August 7, 2022.
This recruitment drive that is being conducted will be filling up 17,291 vacancies under various categories. Out of these, 15,644 vacancies are of SCT PC Civil and/or Equivalent. 554 vacancies are for SCT SI Civil and/or equivalent posts, and SCT PC IT & CO/ Mechanic/Driver has 383 vacancies. There are 33 vacancies for SCT SI IT & CO/PTO/ASI FPB, 63 vacancies for transport constables, for Prohibition and Excise Constable, there are 614 vacancies, and for Driver Operator in the Fire Service Department, there are a total of 225 vacancies.

Candidates need to carry the following documents to the exam hall for TS Police Constable Prelims Exam 2022:
- Admit card
- Photo identification proof such as Aadhaar Card
- An identification card from college or university and/or identity card issued by the employer or government.
