University Grants Commission will close the extended registration window of the National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for the December 2021 and June 2022 merged cycle today, May 30, 2022 (till 5 pm). Interested candidates, who have not yet applied for the exam, should visit the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. to apply for the exam.
The last date of submitting the UGC NET application fee is May 30, 2022 (till 11.50 pm). After that the authorities will open the UGC NET application form correction window tomorrow, May 31, 2022. If required, the candidates should submit the UGC NET application form after correction by June 1, 2022 (till 9 pm).

Instructions to Follow While Applying for UGC NET 2022
The mode of applying for the UGC NET 2022 exam is online. To apply for the exam, the candidates should visit the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- The candidates should select any four cities of their choice. They also get options to choose the NET/ post-graduation course from the drop-down list

During the UGC NET registration process, the candidates have to generate a password.
- The password should be 8 to 13 characters long
- There should be one upper case alphabet, lower case alphabet, numeric value and one special character when you generate the password

Upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature. The photograph should be clicked in recent time, either in coloured or black/ white (but only in clear contrast)
- Size of photograph: 10 kb to 200 kb
- Size of signature: 4 kb to 30 kb
- Take a print out of the UGC NET application form for future reference

To pay the UGC NET 2022 application fees, the candidates should use credit card/ debit card/ NET banking/ UPI/ Paytm. The application fee varies from one category to another.
