UGC NET 2022 Registration Process is expected to commence on April 25, 2022. We have provided below the tentative dates regarding UGC NET Merged Cycles. UGC NET 2022 Notification will be released shortly. Read below for more information.
UGC NET 2022 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA10 is expected to release UGC NET Notification 2022 by April 25. The online application process is likely to begin thereafter soon. The notification, as well as the application form, will be released at UGC NET’s official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
UGC NET is conducted twice each year in June and December cycles. Due to the Wuhan virus pandemic, UGC NET December 2021 session was not conducted. However, as per the recent Twitter announcement of the chairman of UGC, M Jagadesh Kumar, the December 2021 cycle and June 2022 cycle will be conducted as a merged-cycle in the first or second week of June 2022. NTA is yet to finalize the exact schedule.
UGC NET 2022 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

UGC NET 2022: Details Required to Fill the Application Form
Once UGC releases the UGC NET Application Form 2022, candidates will need the following to fill the UGC NET 2022 Application Form:
- Valid Mobile Number
- Active Email Address
- Scanned Signature on an unruled white background with a black ink pen
- Recent Passport Sized Photograph (preferably dated after the release of notification)
- Handwritten Declaration in the candidate’s handwriting
- Left Thumb Impressions in black or blue ink
UGC NET 2022: Steps to Fill Out the Application Form
Follow the simple steps given below to fill UGC NET Application Form 2022:
Step 1: Visit UGC NET’s official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Under Candidate Activity, a link for “UGC NET Application Form 2021-22” will be provided.
Step 3: After the page redirects, click on “New Registration”.
Step 4: Carefully read all the instructions then check the box at the bottom of the page before clicking on “Click Here to Proceed” option.
Step 5: Fill in the details as asked. Upload the documents as per the given guidelines.
Step 6: Pay the UGC NET 2022 Application Fee.
Step 7: Download and/or print the application form.
