Neena Srivastava, UP Board Secretary has informed Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police for taking actions against people who have been making phone calls to High School and Intermediate examinees. The UP Board exam result 2019 is expected to come out later this month.
Srivastava informed that the callers are threatening examinees to provide them with the requisite money. If they fail to do so their board results will remain incomplete and the same will never be declared.
The letter was written on 12th April 2019. According to the letter, callers told the examinees and their parents that their result may never be cleared if they do not pay the amount.
The Board Secretary said that after the matter was brought to her notice, she immediately wrote to Uttar Pradesh DGP to take action against the same and identify the callers who are troubling the students and their parents.

According to the sources, the callers demanded the amount between Rs. 5,000 to Rs,20,000 from examinees . Apart from that, they also sent their bank account number to transfer the requisite amount. The investigation is going on to find out how the details of examinees, their board roll numbers and their parents' personal information was revealed

The investigation on the matter is going on and both the police and the board are to take strict actions against the people responsible for the same.
