UP Police SI/ASI 2020 Typing Test: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board will be conducting the typing test from October 18 to 20, 2022. According to the Board, a total of 5863 applicants have been shortlisted in the DV/PST round. Test takers who will appear for the test must follow several exam-day instructions formulated by the authorities. The aspirants registered successfully have been issued UP Police ASI Skill Test Admit Card. To download the admit cards visit the official web portal of UP Police. i.e. uppbpb.gov.in. The selection process of UP Police ASI recruitment includes stages such as the written exam, document verification & physical measurement test, computer typing/stenography test, medical test, and character verification.
UP Police SI/ASI 2020 Typing Test: Exam Day Instructions
Candidates must go through the exam day instructions of the UP Police SI/ASI 2020 Typing Test provided below.
- Candidates must carry UP Police SI/ASI Skill Test Admit Card to their allotted test centres without fail.
- It is advised to reach the test centres before time to avoid the last-minute hustle at the exam centres.
- No electronic devices allowed inside the examination centre such as mobile phones, Bluetooth, Digital watches, speakers, etc.
- Aspirants must ensure to not carry any other documents except their hall tickets inside the examination hall.
- Candidates involved in any misconduct will be immediately expelled from the test.
UP Police SI/ASI 2020 exam aims to recruit a total of 1329 vacancies, of which, 624+20 are for Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (Clerk), 358 for Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (Accounts), and 295+32 for Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential). Candidates must note that the UP Police SI/ASI Typing Skills will be different for different posts. For ASI, The Hindi typing speed must be 15 words per minute whereas, for SI Confidential, the typing speed must be 25 words per minute, and in English 30 words per minute.
