UPPSC Main Exam 2016 Results Declared after Two Years

Finally, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the UPPSC Main Exam Results 2016 on November 18, 2018. Over 12,900 cleared prelims and appeared for mains exam that took place in September & October 2016. The candidates had been eagerly waiting for the results for the past two years. The UPPSC Main exam results 2016 for Combined State/ Upper Sub-Ordinate Services have been delayed due to several issues. The results are available in PDF format on the official website of UPPSC.

UPPSC revealed that 1,993 candidates have qualified for the last stage of the selection process, i.e., Interview. The schedule for the interview is yet to be released by UPPSC, and the same will be uploaded on the official website by November 19, 2018.

The total number of vacancies available in Uttar Pradesh Combined State/ Upper Sub-Ordinate Services is 633, and the total number of candidates who cleared the Main exam is three times higher than the number of vacancies. Therefore, the candidates can expect a stiff competition for the final round of the selection process.

UPPSC Main Exams for Combined State/ Upper Sub-Ordinate Services was conducted from September 20 to October 08, 2016. Due to some controversies and issues, the results of the Main exam were put on hold. Now, UPPSC has cleared all the issues and is ready to initiate the appointment process after conducting interviews.
