UPTAC B.Tech Choice Filling 2023 Closing TodayUPTAC B.Tech Choice Filling 2023 Last Date: Following the counselling schedule, the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) will conclude the choice filling for B.Tech admissions today, September 17, 2023. It is also the deadline to lock the option choices. All candidates shall take note that the choice locking is a mandatory step. If not done, the preference options will be considered as not submitted and the candidate will be disqualified from the seat allocation. Auto-locking of the options after the last date will not happen for UPTAC B.Tech counselling. Hence, upon adding the preference choices as required, the candidates must lock their choices manually before the last date.
After UPTAC B.Tech 2023 choice filling process concludes on September 17, the UPTAC committee will declare the seat allotment result for the first round of counselling on September 18, 2023. The seat allocation will be done based on the candidate’s merit and institute-branch preferences as per the choice filling form.

UPTAC B.Tech Choice Filling 2023: Steps to Lock Choices
The steps to lock the option choices are outlined here:
Go to the official website at uptac.admissions.nic.in and click on the choice filling link.
Now log in to the portal using your credentials: JEE Main application number and password.
Enter each unique institute-branch combination against the given preference numbers and verify the same once before making the final submission.
All the entered preferences will now be displayed as a list and the option to lock the choices will be provided at the bottom of the page.
Verify the order once again and upon clicking ‘Lock Choice Filling Form’ option, the preferences will be locked. Once locked, no preference can be edited further.
In order to avoid any on-time issues that may lead to the non-submission of option choices, the candidates are advised to complete their choice filling process well in advance before the last hour. Any grievances against such delays will be summarily rejected.
