Three-Day socio techno and cultural festival, Technothon and Techno-Rhythm 2020 were organized by Padmabhooshan Vasantdada Patil Institute of Technology, Bavdhan . Hanumant Gaikwad who is the chairman and MD of BVG India inaugurated the event. While addressing the students, he said that students must come up with innovative ideas for the development of the country in the field of technology. He also added that the engineering course in India must be standardized. He said that the current students who are pursuing a technical degree must educate the members of their family and people around the quality education needed in the technical domain.

The theme of the festival is “ high tech farming”. Over 3000 students from different states and countries were part of the festival. Various technical and non-technical events were organized in the event.
Students came up with various ideas, projects, and creativity in the three days events which included Startup projects, model making, Agro-fest, Lathe War, Cad War, Film making, Hi Flyer, Dowsing, Robo Wrestling, etc.
In the concluding session of the event, the participants were awarded prizes. Yuga Kadam and the team from the College of Engineering Pune won the first prize under AgroFest category for their project “seed the rise”. Participants from Nasik, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Satara, Sangli, Pune also received cash prizes and awards.
