Vivekananda Yoga University, US is all set to hold its first convocation on June 12, 2022. Check which eminent personalities from the field of yoga will be on the list.
Vivekananda Yoga University located in the United States of America is all set to award its first batch of 23 graduates with their maiden convocation on June 12, 2022 . This momentous occasion will be attended by eminent personalities from the field of yoga which include leaders, yoga acadmicians as well as yoga practitioners. The event will be held in Los Angels where the varsity is located in the United States.

Dr. H R Nagendra , Chairman of Vivekananda Yoga University's board of trustees has stated that - "We are proud to announce that in the path laid out by Swami Vivekananda who brought Yoga to the west in 1893, we have brought a vision of holistic approach to Yoga with its applications supported by modern scientific research. It is best of the east meets with best of the West".
Dr. Nagendra is also a top Yoga Guru and the Chancellor of SVYASA University, the world's first Yoga university based in Bengaluru. He was the founder of this university in 2002. The founding director of Vivekananda Yoga University (VaYu) also stressed how indebted the entire university was to Dr. Nagendra who had shown the West the powers of yoga and enabled the creation of trained yoga practitioners as well as researchers. This university is provisionally approved and licensed by the California Bureau of Private and Postsecondary Education (BPPE).
