The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board is set to release the seat allotment result for the first round of WBJEE 2023 today, on August 1, 2023. Candidates can check their seat allotment results on the official website. Candidates will have to pay the seat acceptance fees and report to the allocated institute from August 1 to 5, 2023. If they are not satisfied with the WBJEE round 1 seat allotment or haven’t been allotted a seat in the first round then they can upgrade their seat or wait for the second round of WBJEE seat allotment.

Steps to Download WBJEE Round 1 Seat Allotment
Candidates can follow the steps below to check their WBJEE Seat Allotment Result 2023:
- Click on the link given above or visit the official WBJEE website.
- Click on "WBJEE Seat Allotment Result 2023" link on the main website or in the counseling/admissions tab.
- Click on the provided link to enter the seat allocation system.
- Enter your WBJEE roll number, application number, and other required credentials.
- Submit your information to view your seat assignment.
- Download and print the WBJEE seat allotment letter for future reference during the admission process
Options After WBJEE Seat Allotment
Once the seat allotment result is declared, candidates have the following options:
- Accept and Freeze Allotted Seat: Download the WBJEE 2023 seat allotment letter after paying the seat acceptance fee. This letter is provisional and subject to successful physical verification by the respective institution.
- Accept and Choose Upgradation: Candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee, download the allocation letter, and select "Upgradation Yes" while accepting the seat. This letter is tentative and depends on the successful completion of physical verification by the relevant institution.
