West Bengal Public Service Commission has announced the Mains exam date for the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Exam 2020 for Group A, B, C and D vacancies. According to the information on the official website of the state commission, the tentative date for the exam is June 26 and 27, 2020 and July 4 and 5, 2020. The preliminary exam result for the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) exam and answer key was released in February 2020. The selection of the candidates is done basis the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Preliminary and Mains exam.

The qualified candidates will then have to take the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Mains exam which is followed by the Personality Test and document verification process. The final selection list will be declared on the official website.
WBSC Eligibility Criteria
To appear for the West Bengal Civil Service exams, candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria.
Read, write and speak in Bengali (not mandatory for candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).
Age not below 21 but not more than 32 on the 1st January of the year of exam for services and posts.
A degree from a recognised university.
Have good health, character and suitability for getting appointed to the government service.
For Group B (West Bengal Police Service), age should not be below 20 but not more than 32 on the 1st Jan of the year of exam.
