Dear students,

For starters, you could consider purusing an M. Tech in Aeronautical Engineering. And if you want to get into government organisations, then you can consider taking like AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test), DRDO, HAL and some UPSC exams as well. Some of the options that you may have include:

  • Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO)
  • Civil Aviation Department
  • Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL)
  • National Aeronautical Laboratory
  • Aviation industry
  • Aeronautical Development Establishment
  • Defence Ministry
  • Civil Aviation Department
  • Air India
  • Government Owned Air Service
  • Aircraft Manufacturers
  • National Aeronautical Lab (NAL)
  • Defence Research And Development Laboratories
  • Helicopter Corporation of India
  • Indian Airlines
  • Flying Clubs

However, if you want to start working straight after B. Tech, then you can try getting relevant jobs lin private sector like all major airlines, transport and aviation companies as well as various research and development firms.

In all, you can find work involved in design & production of aircraft and spacecraft but also in turbine, high-speed trains (bullet trains), flying gadgets and turbine production & design. Good luck.
