Dear student,

Bachelor of Technology or B.Tech course in Aerospace Engineering is a four-year professional program that is offered by Amrita School of Engineering.

The course primarily deals with the design, construction, and study of the science behind the forces and physical properties of aircraft, flying craft, rockets, spacecraft, and flying craft. The laboratories as well as workshops, detailed curriculum, have been framed in such a way to take up the challenges in the industry and additionally focus on research and development.

Overall, Amrita College is a decent option that you can consider. It has tie-ups with institutions such as NAL or National Aerospace Laboratories, ISRO or Indian Space Research Organization etc.

The average salary across in all the engineering courses was INR 4 lakhs per annum in 2016. A student was able to manage to grab more than two offers each and the highest salary package offered was INR 17 lakhs per annum.

However, your placement will depend on your performance in the entire course. The college will be more or less just be a medium!
