Dear Vrajen,
NMIMS Mumbai offers admission to its various UG and PG law programmes strictly based in entrance exams. For UG law programmes such as BA LLB and BBA LLB, admissions are done based on the NMIMS LAT exam conducted by the university. Interested students must take this exam to enter the aforementioned courses at NMIMS Mumbai. The university prepares the NMIMS Mumbai merit list for BA LLB and BBA LLB based on the NMIMS LAT scores obtained by the candidates. Candidates also must note that they need to secure at least 50% marks in aggregate in Class 12 to be eligible for admission to this programme.
On the other hand, the NMIMS Mumbai admission process for LLM includes a separate entrance test conducted by the university. However, candidates with a valid CLAT PG or PGCETL score can also apply for this programme. There is also a personal interview round before the final admissions. Candidates must have an LLB degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university as per the eligibility criteria for LLM.
