- SrikantUpdated On March 24, 2022 09:11 AM

The course for Aerospace Engineering has been designed for learners who intend to design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, and missiles. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. These professionals also design components and sub-assemblies for these craft like engines, airframes, wings. The course equips a student to be able to effectively build and communicate the solutions crafted using learnings from basic aerospace engineering, basic sciences, mathematics, and computational skills and tools. He will have the ability to comprehend the problems and craft solutions in the field of Aerodynamics, Aerospace structure, Aerospace Vehicle design, and propulsions. He will rightly apply the associated learning for the atmospheric Flight mechanics, Jet And Rocket propulsions, Gas Dynamics, and Space Flight Mechanics for the solutions to real-world problems. He would demonstrate the ability to propose cost-effective optimized solutions for the aerospace sector using a simulated environment of Computer-aided design, computer-aided manufacturing, and computer-aided engineering. As per the NIRF ranking, LPU is ranked 66th among all government and private universities. As per The Times of India ranking, LPU was at no 36. The highest package offered in the course is about 31 LPA. The average salary was 4.8 LPA. Recently, Gopalchetty Brahma and Vinay Kumar Reddy Andluri topped the youth category (over 18 years), while Sathwik Bikumalla won gold in the junior category (under 18 years) in the online competition prestigious International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition (IAAC) 2021. All three are Aerospace Engineering students at Lovely Professional University. IAAC 2021, one of the world’s largest astronomy competitions, registered over 4,700 participants, 1,300 of whom made it to the pre-final and final rounds. The participants were tested in their knowledge of astronomy and astrophysics.

To choose the best institute for the studies is the most difficult task. Therefore, to help you I would recommend you join LPU as it will not only enhance you academically but also provide you great career aspects. LPU also provides scholarships to the students. LPU has been ranked 78th amongst all government and private universities by NIRF ranking released by MHRD, Government of India. The university offers more than 250 programmes . I would only say LPU does not compromise with the academics at any cost. From this, you can easily judge how the university is making efforts for the growth of their students in a positive way. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. LPU is a proud recipient of the Golden Star Award for being a University with Best Placements in India. Digital Learning has recognized LPU as having the Highest Placement Record in North India. Business and Management Chronicle has ranked LPU among Top 10 Colleges in terms of placements. Aspiring Minds have ranked LPU as having Most Employable Students in consecutively twice in a row for previous academic sessions. Almost all the good companies visit LPU like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, KHIMJI RAMDAS, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, Nestle, ADOBE SYSTEMS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, CRESCENDO GROUP, Rallis India and several other firms. The Highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student Ms. Tanya Arora is 42 LPA for batch 2020 by Microsoft. Students are placed in AMAZON at a package of 30.3 LPA. Rs. 24 LPA for B.Tech/M.Tech by Optmyzr. More than 700 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 6-12 LPA. On the basis of feedback received from Alumni's of LPU, I also believe that LPU is best place to do Aerospace Engineering because the course is designed for learners who intend to design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites and missiles. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. These professionals also design components and sub-assemblies for these craft like engines, air-frames, wings etc. In order to take admission, the eligibility is: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST*(remotely proctored online LPUNEST from home will be conducted). *LPUNEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. The programme offers : #Credit Transfer: Student after successful completion of 2 yrs. at LPU may be given option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of programme subject to conditions and norms of regulatory bodies. #International Exposure Option: Student may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. #Semester Exchange: Student may be given an option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions. #In Aerospace Engineering the programme comes with engineering minors: 1. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foriegn universities. Last but not the least, LPU has a stellar record in placements. Every year nearly 600 companies visit for campus-recruitment of students. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies etc. Just few days ago, NIRF has ranked LPU in top 80 among all private and government institutes.
